Noise Absorption Barriers

Noise absorption barriers are used in areas where the reflective nature of traditional barrier types is unsuitable due to either the noise source not being able to be attenuated to the statutory levels or the proximity of residential dwellings on either side of the noise impacted road.

ln addition, absorptive barriers have been used around electrical sub-stations, shopping centre loading docks and at Amberley RAAF Base for jet engine testing areas. On this particular project Fenco designed and constructed a purpose built transportable access ramp to allow construction of the barrier on top of the existing embankment surrounding the facility.
