Heavy Weathered Steel

Heavy Weathered Steel (HWS) is an alternative with a difference. Once installed the sheets require no ongoing maintenance. In the event that the barrier is tagged by graffiti artists simply leave the paint to weather off or scrub it away and allow the HWS sheet to return to its natural state.

Heavy Weathered Steel panels can also be integrated with a folded galvanised steel panel to form a retaining wall on the same alignment as the acoustic barrier thereby significantly reducing the impact of the retaining wall footprint on land with valuable development potential.
