History
FENCO was established in 1996 to provide an integrated design and construct solution to the then fledgling acoustic barrier industry.
In 2008 FENCO Panels was established. Fenco Panels is our concrete precasting division and was established to ensure that Fenco's Main Roads approved prestessed concrete acoustic panels are produced to maintain our high standards and delivered to suit the program of Fenco and its clients.
FENCO Panels also provides prestressed floor panels to the construction industry and have recently completed floor panels for a 26 storey residential tower in Brisbane's CBD.
Resources
FENCO takes total responsibility for the delivery of projects and retains an in house Project Team comprising of Project Co-ordination, Construction Managment, OHS&E and Estimation staff.
In addition, Fenco maintains a fleet of specialised construction equipment comprising of:
- Kenworth and Volvo Prime Movers
- 8WD Crane Truck
- Crane Trucks
- 10m3 Tipper
- Low Loaders and Trailers
- 6 Excavators
- All-Terrain Forklifts and Working Platforms
- Cranes ranging up to 20t
- Loader
This ensures that our Client's projects are serviced with our own people and plant and traditional delays associated with sub-contract suppliers is minimised.
Certification
FENCO holds ISO 9001 Certification. This quality standard ensures that the service we provide is best practice for our industry.
FENCO Panels hold Queensland Government Registration as a Quality Assured Supplier and complies with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
Awards
We have had many awards over the years. Our biggest one is the thanks we get when our barriers shield the public from unwanted noise.
FENCO was awarded a high commendation for its noise absorptive panels in the 2000 BHP Australian Steel Awards.
